WGA worked

The computer had a volume licence. and WGA keeped poping up saying "your system may be at risk" vary anoying.

So i got OEM copy from newegg

I tried a few methods to change the key they all failed

then i downloaded KeyUpdateTool.exe from microsoft it failed to download some file from the internet. asked me to retry. i had to retry 10 times before it worked. then it let me update my key and everything worked good
